Celluloid doesn't provide any visual indicators for things like playing, pausing and skipping. This can be inconvenient if you rely on keyboard shortcuts in fullscreen mode.

A good example of this is VLC where playing or pausing will display the relevant symbol on top of the video. Skipping ahead or back in the video will also show you the current position.

Right now, it's a bit hard to say what you are doing in fullscreen without looking at the floating controls (using the mouse). A good solution for this might be to display a tooltip for certain actions.
