Anyone know why I cannot clear DTC on my BCM/UCH ECU using DDT4ALL? #1081

thanks @KarelSvo - so if I got a obd2 dongle with a STN110 chip it will work better than the kingbolen and clear all the UCH DTC errors? I cannot see any ones in my DTC error codes then that connect with the DTC error list: D335[5A60] UNDER-INFLATED |

Until the buffer was full, almost only ghost errors that are not relevant to your vehicle were read. An STN interface would read all errors because the buffer is large enough. The error clear command 14FFFF, you didn't send. Useful diagnostics can be done with Pyren and vLinker FS. CLIP DTC filter list from the same UCH, but installed in the Megane III |

your ddt4all DTC log 95321110 @KarelSvo - is that really all my DTC ERROR Codes that are logged though? - because when i check with PyREN it says only 4 'WARN' for the UCH - when I press number1 it just has Q and CLEAR and no errors there. |

I don't know how much error code Pyren was able to read with your China Elm and whether a delete command was sent, the log files are missing. 9532 11 10 |

there are two differences between pyren and dtt4all, one wants to be the same as Clip, the other the same as DTT2000, it's true that pyren has a good base, I'm not saying otherwise... but the list is not 100% (nor is dtt4all's list, be clear), but here the list is 99% equal to ddt2000 |

I have edited the vehicle type list to make it easier for the user to select the correct vehicle type. You removed the user-friendly vehicle type list in main.py instead of adding it in a meaningful way and inserted the list from ddt2000 including all errors and unneeded vehicle types. I don't find this innovative because it's not user-friendly. I didn't write anything about py2. But I can understand why older user-friendly versions are preferred. I also don't like the renaming of the Demomode button to Edition mode. User-friendliness should take priority over innovation. |
