Changing dialects prevents me from compiling

So i have this problem. I got to a point where i want to use Paging in my app. I have my minSdk set to 30, but when compiling, the OVER function in Sqlite is not available. After some investigation I found out the sqlite version is 3.17, so I wanted to change it to higher dialect, but now it cannot generate the database and throws this error.

Cause: class app.cash.sqldelight.core.SqlDelightEnvironment overrides final method com.alecstrong.sql.psi.core.SqlCoreEnvironment.forSourceFiles(Lkotlin/jvm/functions/Function1;)

Has anyone dealt with this? I cannot find any help online.
