This carbonplan repository contains the code that generates the data behind https://carbonplan.org/research/forest-offsets-fires. Raw data come from the California Air Resources Board forest offsets map, the National Interagency Fire Center's current wildland fire perimeter dataset, and the Fire Information for Resource Management System.
All the code in this repository is MIT-licensed, but we request that you please provide attribution if reusing any of our digital content (graphics, logo, articles, etc.).
