Please update package to Laravel current LTS version support which is 6 at the moment. For example delete artisan optimize command as it was deleted

Looks dead to me.
Let me thank everybody involved until here very much for the voluntary great work! ❤

Not dead. But this isn't an issue?

My team has been using this package without any issues for Laravel through Laravel 8 even now and it works fine?

I guess I just missed commenting on this issue as the package is relatively stable. Sorry for the horribly late reply.

Ah OK happy to hear! :)

I came here because of an issue I surely caused by my own incompetence :)

Then I saw last commit Jan 2020.
This Thread asking if the project is alive without answer since Mar 2020 (Open).
And @adovbos stating that changes of artisan have not been adopted.

So I assumed @williamdes question if its dead must be true.
Sorry for my hasty assumption :)

Here is a project that I use to deploy laravel and symfony stuff that uses this repo: https://github.com/sudo-bot/docker-capistrano/tree/laravel
