Windows 10 22H2
let's say you have several Virtual Desktops (VD) opened (those visible by pressing Windows+Tab) , and have different apps opened on different Virtual Desktops
the problem :
TaskBar settings : show lables
you have several VD created with various windows opened. on VD 1 there is Word opened and Music Player opened, on VD 2 there is Notepad and File Explorer opened, on VD 3 there is Chrome opened, on VD 4 there is 2 Chrome windows opened
expected behaviour :
scenario 1) if you switching between several created Virtual Desktops, only programs opened on current Virtual Desktop are visible on TaskBar of the current Virtual Desktop scenario 2) if you switching between several created Virtual Desktops, all opened windows of all launched apps are visible on TaskBar , no matter which exactly Virtual Desktop you currently selected
actual current behaviour :
when switching between various created VD, labels of opened programs are shown in random order, the number of visible opened apps constantly changes, sometimes TaskBar of VD 3 has also windows from VD 1 , sometimes when switching from VD 1 to VD 2 the TaskBar has the correct list of windows opened only on VD 2, but if switching next to VD 3 the TaskBar still has windows opened from VD 2, and so on and so on in similar manner
TESTED :
the issue has nothing common with default W10 settings of showing specific opened apps on Default Taskbar of the current specific Virtual Desktop , or show all opened apps on Default Taskbar on all Virtual Desktops (those settings can be found in W10 Settings > General > Multitasking)
this issue tested in both modes of W10 Settings, problem exists the same, no dependence found
