Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently I'd have to previously export YiNote notes to PDF or Markdown before they could get imported in Readwise.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be awesome if YiNote notes would automatically be sent to Readwise using their API. It would work by providing a Readwise API access token. This has been used by many other apps including snipd (for podcasts) or moon+ reader (for ebooks). It works really well and the only thing currently missing in Readwise is notes from videos.

Describe alternatives you've considered
A possible alternative would be to have an "Export to Readwise" button (next to the "Export to markdown" button for example), but that's a manual process and not as elegant a solution.

Additional context
The YiNote notes would be sent to readwise.io and we would have the possibility to return to the place in the video when the note was taken via a dropdown menu. As an example, for podcasts we have "Open quote in the podcast":

It would be great if this could be supported!

May I ask how do you export YiNote notes into Readwise by using PDF or Markdown? Could you elaborate on this?

On Mac, once you've exported your YiNotes to a PDF document, first highlight and annotate your PDF document using Preview, then you send the document as an attachment to add@readwise.io. Here are the steps in more detail using a video from YouTube:

  1. Create your notes using YiNote whilst viewing the video:

  1. Export your notes to a PDF document:

  1. Open the PDF document in Preview and highlight all your notes

  1. (Rename and) Save your PDF document and email it to add@readwise.io as an attachment

@odebroqueville Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation! Will try that later.

This feature request would make this entire process a lot easier.
