Effect of detector distance in Mie Scattering Intensity calculation

The defined function
ScatteringFunction(m, wavelength, diameter, nMedium=1.0, minAngle=0, maxAngle=180, angularResolution=0.5,space='theta', angleMeasure='radians', normalization=None)
does not tell the effect of intensity vs. angle graph. How can one know the effect of the detector distance or position if it is changed throughout the experiment.
