Is there an existing issue for this?

Problem?

I have recently installed a new Windows machine and wish to have my distros from my original Windows machine available.

Perhaps I am missing something, but I had to first export all my distros as tar files and then import them from the tar files on the new machine.

Solution

It would be handy to have an export and an import button so I do not have to fiddle with WSL2 syntax.

Possible to select source and destination?

  • Export to Destination
  • Import from source

Are you saying that this feature already exists?

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Well, technically creating a template would create a tar.gz file that you could import again on the new machine. Also you have the network transfer feature in the settings.

But I agree: a full "export all" feature would be nice.
