Trying to use the connectivity option:

  • HUR on my car creating the hotpost. It is created correctly
  • On mobile client (WiFi luncher) connection to the car's hotspot.
Not sure why, sometimes to make the automatic connection happens pretty fast (less than a min). But sometimes the connection never happens.
If I go to Android WiFi option, I see the the WiFi created on the car. But it says something like "it wont connect". Why? I guess because it is is the wifi luncher who should force the connection. If I manually tap over the wifi, it makes the connection and Android Auto starts quickly.

I have some more details on why this dont work always.

If I have everything clean, like after a reboot, it will connect perfectly. It detected my car's bluetooth and it lunches the service and it connect's to the car's hotspot. Perfect. This will usually work.

But, If I connect, disconnect, and connect again pretty fast, like in a few minutes it will fail and it will not auto-connect again. If I go to android wifi select, I see the car's hotspot as wont autoconnect. Why? who knows. But wifi-luncher will not connect it. I can manually connect it and it will work.

Do you know what could be causing the issue?

Under this scenario I have tried tasker to always connect the hotspot and it does the work perfectly. Wifi-luncher raises the service and tasker connect the hotspot.

Is the service you are lunching something I can also run with tasker?
