Problem
I organize my books into lists by topics for ease in finding later. As these lists grow, it becomes more difficult for me to navigate through them with the current list display—especially on mobile where one book card is about 2/3 of my screen (on mobile) when scrolling.
Solution
Provide an alternative option for displaying books. Something that allows for faster navigation of list items, possibly greater ease of visual scanning of items in a tighter space.
Considered
I see a different display is used for showing currently read books in the Reading Challenge page. They display as the cover image and is also a link to the book page.
Additionally, maybe when an item is clicked, instead of linking to the item page, it expands with list data similar to the current list display. I think tumblr’s viewing your liked posted offers a similar display option.
