While launching the code webview, a prompt shouldn't be shown

Describe the bug

When opening a code instance, there's a long pause after hitting "return", during which a prompt is shown below the 'hit return to open the webview' comment.

This slightly implies the action has failed somehow, and tempts the user to type another command.

Ideally, a blink> prompt shouldn't be shown while the webview is launching.
