Hey Blake, thank you for putting this project up!

I am running InfluxDB on a rPi already to log an ESP8266 based air quality sensor with MQTT, Node-RED, InfluxDB, and Grafana

I'm definitely a Linux noob though and followed a walkthrough to get it all setup. I'm assuming that I can make use of the existing InfluxDB install and create a new database. It looks like I need to install some more pre-reqs to use your script. If you have any insight or links on how I can best get this running, it would be really appreciated!
