Hello
i wonder what 'snomed' link you are using
normally the most interesting code to use is the 'cui' since this is the concept unique identifier
Where all synonyms for diarrhoea are linked to the same code...
Since the 'snomed' database parses the synonims form chinese, european languages and english to the same cui, you get a kind of unique identifier that is uniformely translateable..

see example attached
you see also that all your names can be linked to snomed much better then what you are doing with that complete database..

you the effect on the database, what at first sight is not related becomes synonyms
