Throughout the book the terms "parent" and "child" are used when what is meant is "ancestor" and "descendant". For example, in the discussion of the hx-trigger target option it says "In the DOM, events bubble to their parent elements ...". That should say "ancestor elements" because an element can only have one parent element.
