@pinceladasdaweb @jaspervdj how could we possibly team up, rather than creating our own listings everywhere?

I'm trying to setup http://staticsitegenerators.net to be the one stop place listing of all the static site generators. So what needs to happen for us to all work together?

The benefit of having this done as a dynamic website - http://staticsitegenerators.net/ - allows us to have one simplistic listing with basic meta data properties, and then have the website pull in advanced data like github stars, project maturity, contributors, description, language, keywords, etc.

With the changes from @SurajShukla we now have all of the entries from https://github.com/pinceladasdaweb/Static-Site-Generators

@balupton Is this something you now consider as resolved?

Unfortunately, nope. @pinceladasdaweb is still maintaing his sole independent listing, despite my urges to partner up: pinceladasdaweb/Static-Site-Generators#7

Not sure what to do here.

Maybe as a fun hack day project a script could be written to generate a markdown file from our compiled JSON listing to generate a markdown file in the https://github.com/pinceladasdaweb/Static-Site-Generators format, as a double smackdown for the uselessness of that listing

compiled JSON listing

From this YAML file?

Correct. The website enhances it into https://staticsitegenerators.net/list.json which contains extra information like stars etc.

@SurajShukla will likely reach out to you as soon as a decision has been made on #220

Some more great resources here which we could consolidate:

...also an idea. We could make a script which automatically parses the URLs from other static site generator listings and shows which one's are present on other ones but not here.

@davisonio I've had that desire before but never managed to figure out how, just scanning for and comparing URLs is a fantastic and easy implementable idea, good thinking!
