Manually modified the Max version myself. ESP8266 and ESP32 Generic work. With ESP32 C3 it stops with an error. Just for information.

I have changed the config as in #401 and was able to compile succesfully for ESP8266.
Will now unsubscribe from this issue. Feel free to close it when needed.
