It would be awesome to have enhancements in fee estimation techniques similar to those achieved in bitcoin/bitcoin#10199.

Some very interesting benefits for the API would be:

  • Ability to choose between conservative and non-conservative (or economical) estimates.
  • Higher bound on number of blocks (upto 1008 for Btcoin Core).

However I'm not familiar enough with bcoin implementation, so I cannot comment about the feasibility.
