ETools is an open source software to solve basic engineering problems. It can calculate reactions, elastic deformation, slope, deflection of isostatic(statically determinate) and hyperstatic(statically indeterminate) systems, and temperature distrubition on known formed metal plate.
ETools is written in QT C++ with platform independence. ETools is available on Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and Mac OS X. You can either download a binary package for the system(preparing) of your choice or build it from source.
To build ETools on Linux, you must have so simple requirements.
- QT
- Muparser Library
- Armadillo Library
- a coffee :)
- Download zip or run in terminal:
git clone https://github.com/bariscelik/ETools.git
- Install muparser and armadillo library
- Open ETools.pro
- Finally, press run button or
Ctrl + R
and drink coffee
