hello,
The e-mail charset with ks_c_5601-1987 was not properly displayed, so I thought of a temporary alternative.

protected function decodeMimeStr($string, $toCharset = 'utf-8') {
...
$fromCharset = !isset($element->charset) || $element->charset == 'default' ? 'iso-8859-1' : $element->charset;
$fromCharset = !isset($element->charset) || $element->charset == 'ks_c_5601-1987' ? 'CP949' : $fromCharset;

So it works fine in subject, but I do not know how to handle at text / html or text / plain.

please help.

okay, I found a solution for myself.

function convertStringEncoding($string, $fromEncoding, $toEncoding) {

add two lines to line number 747. so it works fine in subject and body both.

Fix can be joined with PhpImap\Exception [ 0 ]: Mime string encoding conversion failed ~ APPPATH/vendor/php-imap/php-imap/src/PhpImap/Mailbox.php [753]

I'm not sure, if this can be closed as well, @barbushin.

A real test would be great. Maybe, the PHPUnit tests needs to be improved or extended.
