(required to resize window to fix text on default layout format of epub book, or; books?) also problem were on arch it hard freeze bookworm, not sure what caused it but I had to close and reopen bookworm, and remove unknown eBook entry, and re-select the eBook again.

so I have an free eBook from https://standardebooks.org/ and bookworms 2 screen view is not display the text right, on the left side of the screen some of the bottom text is being hidden or cut off , also epub covers are now showing on arch Linux but before it seemed like it was very slow to load or display them, I close bookworm and the second time I open it is now displaying the cover images of the epub files which I selected from my calibre library directory. I am using the endeavouros distro version of arch Linux. the title of book I loaded is the hound of the baskervilles, and the DRM Free E-book is from standardebooks.org website. they use their own formatting on all the eBooks from that website, maybe not compatible with bookworm not sure. which is two problem one is the error or slow processing of the cover images, again second time I open the app the covers were working, and the second problem seems to be related to its being able to load standardebooks files correctly, calibre has a search option that works with the site for finding these type of formatted ebooks now.

enable two page reading in bookworms settings and this eBook below, also bookworm froze up and I had to force close bookworm, and afterwards I had to re-select the directory and file again, it didn't have the book in it instead had a unknown eBook placeholder title that seems to crash bookworm, no epub file connected to it, and no cover image.I was able to select and remove unknown eBook entry under software. also with enable two page reading mode off, it seems to load the eBook mostly correct but text is still not right so have to resize the window bigger since it seems to cut off the eBooks text towards the bottom of the bookworm window in gnome under arch Linux. manualling resizing the bookworm window does seem to fix the text problem, but I would think the the app should be able on default have the text showing without having to manually resize it myself for each ebook title, I have not tried anything besides epub , not mobi or any other formats from calibre in bookworm yet. in any case I still wanted to report that error, since I don't no what caused the bookworm software to not respond on my arch linux yet.
