I think I resolved this. I backed up my acore_auth and acore_character databases, and dropped acore_world. Things seem to have loaded on the client-side, so as far as I can tell that worked. |

I have been fiddling around with the progression module, and part of installing that is modifying the databases. I did not know that auto-db was part of the core, and so I started adding the sqls on Heidi. I want to try doing it with auto-db instead of manually adding all of them, however now I get errors.
"ERROR 1062 (23000) at line 1 in file: 'C:\Azerothcore\data\sql\custom\db_world\dungeon_blackwing_lair.sql': Duplicate entry '23310-spell_bwl_chromaggus_time_lapse' for key 'spell_script_names.spell_id'♪◙
Applying of file 'C:/Azerothcore/data/sql/custom/db_world/dungeon_blackwing_lair.sql' to database 'acore_world' failed! If you are a user, please pull the latest revision from the repository. Also make sure you have not applied any of the databases with your sql client. You cannot use auto-update system and import sql files from AzerothCore repository with your sql client. If you are a developer, please fix your sql query."
So I understand what's going on, it's trying to apply the same changes. My question is how do I either revert the changes, or otherwise work around it? My first idea was going back through the installation process, and resetting the database. For this, I would need to learn how to backup my character data. My second idea is emptying the databases of the offending entries. For this, I would need to figure out how to empty those entries without breaking things, and also is not ideal to purge all the different entries individually. My third idea is I could remove the sqls I've already applied from the auto-db. My concern there is if I am setting myself up for trouble down the road.
I would love some advice on which way I should proceed.
