Hi, great post! What was the reason to not use Drizzle query builder? For me the only reason to mix both is if you have a legacy app with kysely and want to use Drizzle Kit for migrations.

How to query in drizzle ORM.

Well, I tried out Drizzle ORM earlier this year for a project with lots of data. Overall, the experience was good, but there were a few caveats, especially regarding performance. This was a total deal-breaker for me in that specific project. This is a common issue with most if not all, ORM tools (like Prisma). So, I switched to a query builder instead. Kysely was a perfect fit since it had TypeScript support like Drizzle, and the performance was significantly better.

Since then, there may have been some optimizations made to Drizzle. I'll give it another go and see how it performs now.
