Steps to reproduce

Windows 11 with 2 monitors: Display 1 (Display Port) and Display 2 (HDMI)

  1. Set video grabber to Display 2 (HDMI)

  2. Windows locked (Win + L) or screen automatically turn off after 15 minutes via Power Options
Windows do not go to sleep or hibernate

  3. Back to PC by unlock it or just press any key for Windows turn on Monitors > Display 1(DP) is turn on first and after a few seconds Display 2 turn on too. HyperHDR auto change to DX Grabber on Display 1 and do not back to current setting (should be Display 2)

  4. Go to HyperHDR Setting > Video Capturing > Software Screen Capture > setting still set to Display 2 but leds is not on or it is Display 1 capturing.

  5. Change Device to Display 1 (or Automatic) and Save > then change back to Display 2 and Save for DX Grabber back to Display 2 Grabber.

What is expected?

Expected that HyperHDR start DX Grabber on Display 2 when it is on again > not automatic select Display 1 first.

What is actually happening?

hyperHDR-restart.log
HyperHDR still select Display 1 instead of current setting "Display 2" when new start HyperHDR
Step:

  1. Video Capture Source set to Display 2 (HDMI) and it works normally
  2. Exit HyperHDR
  3. Lock windows, monitors turned OFF automatically > I power OFF Display 1 by pressing Power OFF on monitor
  4. After about 8 hours later, unlock windows. Monitor 2 is ON and I power ON monitor 1 by pressing POWER ON on monitor 1. 2 monitors turned ON and working normally.
  5. Start HyperHDR > Leds start up and in Monitor 1 capturing state. In setting: "Display 2" but HyperHDR auto capture Display 1.
