Undefined method error when viewing scoreboard immediately after updating rb file

When updating a rb file (with the scoreboardOrderSubmissions hook defined), an error occurs if the scoreboard page (with at least 2 submissions?) is loaded immediately next (without visiting the assessment landing page, etc.)
