It seems inconsistent to me that I can do

asdf install <lang> latest

but not

asdf global <lang> latest

PR for this is in #633

To be clear, this PR will allow inserting into .tool-versions the exact version number at the time the command is run.

This was closed in #633. #994 will include this in the next release, until then asdf update --head should give you what you're after.
