How use a specific dialect of a language?

How can I choose a specific dialect? I am talking about dialects that differ in writing, not in speech or pronunciation.

For example, Albanian language has 4 dialects. I would like to translate from Tosk dialect of the Albanian language to Gheg dialect of the Albanian language.

Or from Bolton English to Tosk Albanian?

Also, If I wanted to contribute to a specific dialect, how should I do that?
