Is it possible to mock graphql subscriptions?

We have FE app which uses Relay as graphql client.
I'm looking for solutions to mock our graphql server:

• for testing
• for FE work when BE is not ready yet

I saw something in the docs which says it is possible to mock schema directly in browser runtime. But I have not seen any explicit examples of this in the docs.
I need to mock subscriptions which are not implemented yet right now. But we already established them in schema. I didn't get how to do it.

Some requirements for solution is:

• it should work for different kinds of tests: jest, cypress, manual
• it should be able to mock subscriptions
• it should be able to generate default data based on schema automatically

graphql-tools looks very interesting. I'm reading documentation but I don't see end to end complete examples how to mock server.

We support mocking subscription. Our docs have an example to create a mocked schema so you can use it any kind of GraphQL Client that takes schema as a source.
But I am not sure if this package is relevant for frontend. Maybe mocking GraphQL requests on your GraphQL Client might be a better option other than dealing with an entire schema with mocking
