Hello! A few days ago I found out this very interesting project and i decided to try help to develop it.
(i have project on a similar theme, as projects of Memorial)

Where i can find actual guide on installing and running new version? How to build ES6 files? How to run? What is dependencies?

What is project plans?

Thanks :)

Hey!
Thanks for your message!
Archivist 2 is not yet ready, although I hope it would be ready in a coming months.
Currently we are moving towards Archivist library with a set of helper tools, Memorial's archive was moved to other repo (OST). You can try to install OST and play with it (it uses archivist as dependency). Basically you should run npm i, run seed script (don't forget to run a postgres server and change a config in config/default.json), next you should run node make dev (to make a build) and run node server, so you will have a localhost access.
But there are might be a problems and it's not finished yet.
What is your project?

Wow, fast response!

I'm making an app for GULAG History Museum (in russian) project «My GULAG» (russian: «Мой ГУЛАГ», also, watch videos). So it would be great use Archivist as backend (we're also have transcripts :) ).

Thank you for guide, i'll try to build and run.
