<p>Los adverbios suelen estar delante del verbo o adjetivo que modifican. Según el tipo de adjetivo las reglas de formación de adverbios cambian:</p>

<p>A veces, あまり, cuando se añade に, se usa en verbos no negativos y adjetivos, y significa "tan" ("so much") o "mucho" ("very much").</p>

<p><strong>くらい y ごろ</strong></p>
<p>Ambos se traducen como "aproximadamente" o "mas o menos", pero su uso es muy diferente.</p>
<p>くらい y ぐらい se usan para indicar una cantidad aproximada, de volumen, plata, tiempo, u alguna otra cosa. Cuando tienen un matiz de "aproximada cosa", casi no tienen diferencia de uso o significado.</p>

<p>ごろ refiere a un "período de tiempo" aproximado:</p>

<h2 id="adverbios-intraducibles">Adverbios intraducibles</h2>
<p>Algunas veces, se pueden encontrar adverbios con matices especiales o con adverbios que no tienen una traducción clara. Los más representativos:</p>
<p><strong>やっぱり</strong></p>
<p>Forma coloquial de やはり. Adverbio usado con el significado de "justo lo que pensaba", "justo lo que estaba esperando" ("just as was to be expected"), o incluso "después de todo".</p>

<dt>彼は<mark>やっぱり</mark>ゲイですね</dt>
<dd>(justo lo que pensaba / es obvio que / después de todo) él es gay, no?.

<p><strong>まさか</strong></p>
<p>Significado mas o menos similar a "no me digas!", "imposible!", "estas bromeando!".</p>
<p><strong>さすがに</strong></p>
<p>Significado aproximado de "como es esperado" / "as may be expected", "es solo natural", "es cierto" / "indeed".</p>
