Documentation installation instructions for conda suggest using conda install -c astropy aplpy which pulls from the astropy conda repo, which has APLpy version 2.0.3. This is old enough that it causes import errors with astropy >5.

Related to #472 and same with conda-forge.
Also it fails to install at all for Python 3.11 (and possibly 3.10) since there only exists a compatible version of pyregion for python >=3.9,<3.10.0a0. @astrofrog, @bsipocz, any ideas whom to ping at condaforge about updating the versions?
