Hi,
Due to the fact that most teams use Swagger to document REST APIs, if possible, give this feature to apiato.

It is not so much about adding it to apiato (you can add it to your project, its just a package), but maintaining apidoc and openapi support at the same time (configs, generators, examples, docs).

I think its an overhead for smaller projects to use openapi, but keeping support for both will be a huge effort. Personally I think openapi has a lot of pros, especially not having node as a dependency.

I believe that in addition to Swagger being a "market standard" today, we also have the fact that the APIDocJs project is no longer being maintained as announced in October 2023 here apidoc/apidoc#1436
