Description

Currently, within the installer, two volumes are consistently defined for Influx. This configuration stemmed from the transition from Influx1 to Influx2.

Question

Is it feasible to remove this setup? While new installations shouldn't encounter issues, what will happen to installations that were migrated from Influx1 to Influx2?

Locations where it is defined

  • installer/cli/deploy/standalone/influxdb
  • installer/compose/docker-compose.*.yml
  • installer/k8s/templates/external/influxdb/influxdb-pvc.yaml
  • installer/k8s/templates/external/influxdb/influxdb2-pvc.yaml
    Are there any other locations?
