#530 You closed this issue without it getting solved for me. I verified the text in the database. And its there as it's supposed to be as far as I can tell.

I no longer use any email plugins and vanilla email sending with WordPress. I also switched SMTP services since then. Please tell me what kind of filter Anspress uses that other plugins or something could interfere with this. So I can debug this.

Hello @nextgenthemes
I closed it because I was not able to replicate it. You can use this filter to override email template and try to replace template tag: https://github.com/anspress/anspress/blob/master/addons/email/class-helper.php#L262

@rahularyan I was actually thinking of native core WordPress filter. I doubt the plugins I used hook directly into Anspress own filter you linked above and manipulate something.

I had no time to debug this, but the issue just disappeared, and I believe it was after I switched from 'Stop Spammers' to 'Zero Spam' and the issue is gone. There were other things, so I can not 100% confirm it, but I am pretty sure the 'Stop Spammers' plugin did something that causes the issue if you want to look into it or just a heads-up if anyone runs into this issue.
