Describe the bug
Python error in Update checker (under preferences)

To Reproduce

Check for new version. (In Blender 2.9.3 LTS)
Windows 11 (yuk)

"Value error: must be a boolean value"

Sorry can't get a screenshot with Snipping tool as the error is removed!

** Notes **
I think this is likely something weird with Python as I can't even get MB_Lab to install on Blender 3.0 release version and when I did have it working, more by luck than good judgement I was getting errors finalising the model. I can't file a proper report as I can't get it to start at all now. Thanks Microsoft.

Same problem here with MB-Lab 1.7.8.5 and Blender 2.9.3 LTS on MacOSX 11.6.1
