SplashScreen app for Android 12. Animated drawable not showing

There are three splash screen variants in the example.
Two of them show green colored splash but none of them show the hourglass icon in the middle.
There is no hourglass animation when launching AnimatedActivity. Just a green(lime) splash screen.

Am I the only one?
What am i doing wrong?

Any progress with this issue? We are trying to implement the new Splash feature and are not able to.
