RELEASE

To make a release:

(1) Check that all docuemntation is up-to-date
    and committed. (Run "make install" in 
    doc_src, then git commit any changed 
    files).

(2) In Matlab, check all tests run without error.
    If fixes are needed commit them and check (1)
    is still true.

(3) Update the RELEASE_NOTES and commit

(4) Check dates in licences.

(5) Tag the last commit of this release:
    git tag 0.8

(6) Generate tar file by:
    git archive --format=tar --prefix=msat-0.8/ HEAD | gzip -9 > ../msat-0.8.tar.gz

(7) Generate MD5 and SHA1 digests of tar file for verification of distribution.
    openssl dgst -md5 ../msat-0.8.tar.gz > ../msat-0.8-digest
    openssl dgst -sha1 ../msat-0.8.tar.gz >> ../msat-0.8-digest
