Lot number and expiry date in FBA Inbound API missing?

Hi,

we started to work with the inbound API, which seems to be really straight forward to far. But now we are wondering how to submit expiry date and lot number. For the vendor API it seems possible, but not for Seller-API.

What did we miss? What are the consequences if we miss those information for perishable goods? Is inbound shipment for those even possible?

I found an answer how to at least set the expiration date. It is not that obvious to find, it is indirectly part of the method

createInboundShipment:
InboundShipmentRequest -> InboundShipmentHeader -> IntendedBoxContentsSource

Here you can specify how the box content would look like. If you choose 2D_BARCODE, the information is stored within the generated code. If you choose FEED you have to call a method outside the Inbound-API.

Call the feed API with type "POST_FBA_INBOUND_CARTON_CONTENTS". The content of this request, schema

As you can see, here we find the ExpirationDate.

In effect only one questions remains. Where can I find the batch/lot number?
