Understand write options

I would like to understand the difference between these options (Ampache 6.3)

; This determines if we write the changes to files (as id3 tags) when modifying metadata, or only keep them in Ampache (the default).

write_id3 = "true"

in the code it looks like write_id3 does nothing, should be removed as it's not doing anything
