It would be really nice if we could have TeamCity comments as placeholders.

AFAIK, TeamCity propagate all build parameters into build parameters.

Could you try https://github.com/alexkvak/teamcity-slack#parameters-placeholders ?

What I meant is adding comments (from Comment and tags section) on a job as a placeholder.
