I am writing a backbrief: I am currently describing the ideas behind synthetic data and privacy (which I am also learning as I go).

Martin would like me to join up the various projects. I'm not quite sure how to do that!

I've spent less time on this project due to the RDS course, but should make progress again the next few weeks.

I've written some thoughts about QUIPP + Synthetic data, both shared in the slack channel reg-synthetic-data.

Aims for this week:

• Tidy up IPF python libraries
• Code for membership inference attacks on the IPF-generated dataset (based on Florimond's work).

I've had paused this project for the last couple of weeks but I'm back on it now. Plans for the week:

• Second attempt at running QUIPP
• Start to write an overview of QUIPP (this issue).
• Catch-up with @triangle-man about discussions about synthetic data attacks.
