On skim reading the current modules, the text for the most part seems active. Would it be an idea to update the text as much as possible to be active?

It's a little annoying to find specifically, but just thought worth raising to decide if it should be a back-of-the-mind thought when proofreading?

Really silly point, but do we use UK English or Simplified English? And is it worth standardising across the modules?

Updating this issue, after reviewing m3 in particular, and as noted in commit 1f88402, there are some obtuse words and phrasing which are scattered throughout the course. We need to make an effort to make sure we do not use excessively complex words (or at least provide better context and definations for them)
