We will manage internal comms and create a participant dicussion space using slack. The community is already active in slack, so no need as yet to consider an alternative tool. Discussed and agreed in /palnning/minutes.md that the participant

What needs to be done?

• confirm workspace: ai4environment - UPDATE: requested approval form workspace admins to rename to "Turing Environment and Sustainability". Action 8th December
• create and add members to organising committee channel - UPDATE: invites sent to all organisers - who hasn't received?
• check E&S TIG are there
• invite Biodiversity TIG to that workspace
• create participant channels - "CI2024"

Update after the issue was opened

Note Emily Lines reported being "locked out of the workspace". The below instructions (from Turing Intranet, relating to Turing migration to Enterprise Grid Slack) resolved her access issue.

Once the migration has been completed, you will need to sign back in to Slack. To do this, all users should visit https://alanturinginstitute.enterprise.slack.com/, and then:

• Users with a turing.ac.uk email address can use their SSO login by clicking ‘sign in with Turing Enterprise’
• Users with an external email address should click on ‘enter email and password’, after you do this you will be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA)
