AG-Grid TreeData sorting is not working

I have an ag-grid with Tree Data. (https://ag-grid.com/angular-data-grid/tree-data/).
I am using ag-grid-community, version: 29.0.0

I am facing issue with sorting in Tree Data(sorting not working at all).Instead if I make the grid as [treeData]="false", sorting works perfectly. Is there any way that we should make sorting to work in tree view, please suggest.

I am not using custom sorting, its normal sorting like numeric,string etc.
I also referred and followed as given here:#1270
