Build custom datetime item

We have built a customised date item which supports partial dates with validation. At the moment, the datetime item remains an MUI out-of-the-box component. Would be good if we can apply our custom changes onto the datetime item for consistency.

New datetime item doesn't look good in group tables.
Would it be possible to have both fields in the same row, and only push the time fields to the next row if a certain width threshold is reached?
