Brief description of tool

Docker is pegged at an old version - 24.x

Docker Engine is up to 26.x now

It would be great if docker-ce, docker-ce-cli and compose were unpegged and left as latest.

We are going to add new Docker versions in the next few weeks. For now there are some risks and maintenance concerns which block us from updates. I'll try to ping you when such changes done.
