Compiler not catching invalid comparison between DateTime and Time

This generates an error during db-deploy, but not in the editor.

class Reservation
    readonly attribute endTime : Time;
    operation transfer(newOwner : User)
        precondition {
            self.endTime < DateTime#now()
        };

Maybe that makes sense, but how?
