Re-authentication fails

How to reproduce :
browse to the demo at https://quiz.ably.dev/ , host a randomly chosen quiz, start the quiz, then with a question open wait for 1 hour. After 1 hour following error is shown in the console, and the quiz can no longer be resumed :

Ably: Connection state: failed; reason: [t: Mismatched clientId for existing connection; statusCode=401; code=40102; see https://help.ably.io/error/40102
