ads not blocked when connected to android auto

The audio ads are not blocked when connected to android auto.
It works in the past.

Hi there, there is no official support for android auto because I do not have a real-world device to test the app.

Can you describe what changed?

• Did you update spotify, or android auto?
• Does it still work under some conditions? Did it previously work for all cases?

Hi,
The ads are not blocked when updated to the latest spotify. I reverted to an older version, it does not work too although it works in the past. I cannot revert to an older version of android auto to test. The old *.apk does not install.
