Workaround for Openmeta library integration not supporting custom Trakt lists? #69

I know a feature related to this has already been requested and is on the roadmap for 2.0 here: [Feature Request] Library integration with Trakt lists but in the interim I am looking for a work around.

Openmeta is currently syncing my collection, and I am excited to see the finished result and start using it, but I have learned that although the feature to allow syncing custom lists rather than just the collection has been requested and marked for the 2.0 version, it is not currently possible.

I have 1200 shows in my custom list, a small minority of which I have watched but when I compare this to my collection it shows just 900 shows. On the Trakt website I can set the custom list to hide uncollected (and this for some reason shows only 500 shows) and I could manually go through them one by one and add them to collection but due to the size of the list this is impractical.

Is there a way to somehow batch add all missing shows to the collection, whether on the website or through Kodi, or alternatively an *addon I could use just to sync the custom Trakt list to my local library but still use Openmeta in the library?

  • Many addons report library integration working when it does not
